AMHA/AMHR 2005 grullo dun miniature stallion 30” tall proven sire of quality foals. His registered name is SMBS Sir Paul McCartney and his nickname is Cookie. He has that rare and hard to find grullo color. He has a very gentle temperament and very easy to handle. He can pasture breed or hand breed. Even with the rankest of mares he can get the job done. His foals are correct in conformation with straight legs and good bite. Most have his gentle temperament. He has produced blacks, duns, palominos, buckskins and an assortment of colors in between depending on the color of the dam. He is DNA tested but not checked for color genetics. His bloodlines are from well established lines including Komoko, Circle S, Hidden Meadows, and Shadow Oaks to name a few. We have acquired a new grullo dun stallion and don't have room for both. I need a new bloodline to cross on Cookies' daughters that I have kept and added to the broodmare herd. He would make a good addition to your breeding program. A good home is a must. He has ten or 12 more good years left to sire foals. These photos were taken in late May this year and he is pasture fat and not being used this year for breeding. He has a cute way of sticking his tongue out the side of his mouth when getting attention and my husband was feeding him horse treats too. He trims down more when being used for breeding and is currently out on very rich pasture 12 hours or so a day. He is a beautiful little horse. I will consider any reasonable offer or consider a lease. We can supply his pedigrees upon request.
