AMHA# A183784 | DOB: 8/9/2007 (17 yrs)
Description
AMHA 2007 32.5” mare registered as a silver dapple but matured as a chocolate chestnut. She is the dam of the silver filly and is line bred Kokomo. Her sire was valued at $15000 when being campaigned at shows in the 1990's. She is an excellent broodmare producing six foals to date. She usually settles easily and had no difficulty foaling. She sells bred to our Egyptian King smokey grullo dun stallion for a 2019 foal. He has a history of producing lighter colored foals. A breeder's certificate will be provided for registration of the foal. We are reducing our herd and selling off our darker mares. Price is $750 but for a three in one package, we will take $1500 for her, the silver filly and this mare in foal. She is currently being bred. The Egyptian King bloodline is a dynasty in the miniature horses producing outstanding individuals. As of the end of 2001, King had sired 234 foals with 37 of them having achieved the title of National Champion or Reserve national Champion. At the 1999 National Show, there were over 150 Top Ten finishers being descendants of King She is shown with her silver filly in the photo. She hadn't completely shed her faded winter coat in the photo but will be a rich dark chocolate when shed out.
AMHA Silver filly born May 22 who may mature to be either a silver dapple or a smokey grulla in color. She was 21.5” at birth and will likely mature out to 32” at most. Her dam is 32.5” and sire is 30”. She is one of the smartest and sweetest foals we have had in recent history. She was up and nursing in less than an hour after birth and negotiated some concrete steps in and out of a stall where we have had erosion away from the barn out into the paddock. She has a beautiful dished face. Her grandsire was a successful show stallion and valued at $15,000 back when being campaigned in the 1990's. This filly has the potential to be a show filly and can be hardship registered into AMHR for an extra fee. The filly has the bloodlines of Stouts, Kokomo, Circle S, Hidden Meadow and Shadow Oaks top and bottom. Price is $1000
We wean our foals when they are emotionally ready to leave their moms. Some are more timid and dependent than others. But they are usually ready to go to their new homes by four and five months of age. Most leave in October and November as it is convenient for their new owners. We accept a 50% deposit by check or PayPal to hold them until weaning time at which time when you pick them up, the balance is due. We will have them registered and a name selected. If you buy them early enough, you can help pick out their registered name.
We screen the potential new homes for our horses and happily will mentor those new to horses as well as those with experience. Please do not try to text, our phone will not accept. Either email or call for more information. Pedigrees can be sent upon request.
